June 26, 2026 – Coding with SAM Labs
Location: Permian Basin Petroleum Museum
High School/Middle School/Elementary (6 hours)
Join us for an exciting hands-on Teacher Workshop featuring SAM Labs Robotics! Educators will explore innovative ways to bring coding, engineering, and problem-solving into the classroom through interactive robotics and STEAM-based challenges. Participants will gain practical experience using wireless robotics kits, learn classroom-ready activities, and discover engaging strategies to inspire creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking in students. Whether you are new to robotics or looking to expand your STEAM instruction, this workshop will provide valuable tools and ideas you can immediately implement in your classroom.
Permian Basin Petroleum Museum is a TEA-Approved Provider.
Participants will receive 6 CEU/CPEs for this workshop.
Registration is required and cost is FREE.

July 27, 2026 – Nature of a Classroom
Location: Sibley Nature Center
High School/Middle School/Elementary (6 hours)
Join us and other area Museums and Education Directors to learn more about Museums, Nature Centers, Programs, Outreach, and Field Trip Opportunities here in West Texas. We will begin the day with a Sibley Field Trip outline, complete with a nature hike, feeding ducks, stopping in the education garden, and museum. After Lunch we will meet the rest of our presenters in the AC, inside the auditorium and Llano Room. Lessons are TEKS-aligned and fun!
Sibley Nature Center is a TEA-Approved Provider.
Participants will receive 6 CEU/CPEs for this workshop.
