The Petroleum Museum’s Brown Bag Lunch and Lectures give our community the chance to visit with authors, scientists, artists, and historians who recount the petroleum industry’s beginning, present, and future, along with topics of local and historical interest. Mission Agape – Stacy Baccus, Executive Director/Founder

Serving children, families, and seniors across nine Permian Basin counties, Mission Agape provides food to approximately 10,000 individuals each month through food programs, rural outreach, and personal ministry. Stacy Baccus, Executive Director of Mission Agape, will share an inspiring overview of the organization’s mission to love people well and meet real needs withcompassion and consistency. Stacy will also highlight how the organization goes beyond meeting practical needs by offering encouragement, prayer, and genuine relationships. Join us as we learn about this important organization and how they are helping our neighbors in the community.

Mark your calendars for April 23rd as we welcome Cristen Wohlgemuth, President and CEO of Mountain States Legal Foundation. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Texas A&M University and her Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law. Cristen began her career teaching Advanced Placement U.S. Government before serving as Governor Rick Perry’s budget and policy advisor on natural resource issues and leading the staff policy team for the Texas House Republican Caucus. She later served as Executive Director of the Claremont Institute’s Center for Constitutional Jurisprudence, focusing on constitutional law.
Cristen joined Mountain States Legal Foundation in 2017. Founded in 1976, MSLF is a nonprofit public interest law firm dedicated to protecting property rights, individual liberties, economic freedom, and constitutional rights through strategic litigation, including cases involving federal regulatory overreach and the Equal Protection Clause. MSLF also houses the nation’s first in-house Second Amendment litigation center and a Legal Fellowship Program that trains future constitutional advocates.
