Family Science Night
The Permian Basin Petroleum Museum proudly presents Family Science Night sponsored by Chevron.
Thursday, May 1, 2025 – Kitchen Science
6:30 – 8:00 p.m.
Put on your aprons and grab your measuring spoons for an exciting Kitchen Science Family Science Night at the Petroleum Museum, where chemistry meets the ingredients in your favorite snacks. Families will engage in ice cream making, chemical reactions with smores, edible soil layers, and graham cracker plate tectonics. Explore the ingredients of the pantry to engage in topics of chemistry, physics, Earth science, and more!
Admission is always FREE thanks to our generous sponsors at Chevron.
Museum Members enjoy the added bonus of early admission from 6:00 – 6:30 pm. Doors open to the public from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.
